Preacher-Scholar Darryl L. Jones

D.L. Jones is unquestionably God’s chosen one for restoring the work of the famed Azusa Street Revival and re-establishing the centrality of the Holy Spirit in our walk with Christ, the Church worship context, and effective ministry. Not only is D.L. Jones full of the Holy Ghost and thereby operates in the gifts and power of the Spirit, but also has an educational background that is exceptional. D.L. Jones is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Iona College with a B.A. degree in Psychology, has earned both Master of Divinity and Master of Philosophy degrees, and is currently in the final stages of completing his dissertation en route to completing a Ph.D. degree in New Testament Studies at Union Theological Seminary. His distinctions and honors include being named to Who’s Who in American Colleges, the National Council of Church’s Walter Athearn scholar, and as the Fund for Theological Education’s doctoral scholar and dissertation fellow.

As the Founder of the Azusa ’08 it is clear that D.L. Jones is an individual of remarkable vision. His other outstanding credits include being the Founder and Pastor of a vibrant, Spirit-filled church in Newark, DE, named Immanuel Assembly; Dean of the New Destiny Bible School in Wilmington, DE, an academic teacher at Union Theological Seminary and Alliance Theological Seminary, a published writer, host of both Christian television (e.g.’s: Reach Out!, Insight) and radio programs (Morning Manna on WFAI radio), and a dynamic seminar leader and conference preacher.

Evangelist Douglas Hosmer

Evangelist Douglas Hosmer was born in Watertown, a small town in upstate NY. Through the invitation of his mother at the age of 15 years, he began attending the church. He had a dramatic conversion experience and was baptized and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 17.

After this dramatic experience, God sent fire in this young man’s life that is yet burning to this day. He was called into ministry and began preaching at 18 years of age. Not long
after, signs and wonders began to follow his ministry. For the first few years he attended the church and stood by the side of his spiritual father, Bishop Stanley Flasher. But the Lord had more in store for this young man. So, in 1999, God began to deal with Elder Hosmer to branch out into full time evangelistic ministry. So, On Fire Evangelism began to burn. Almost immediately doors began to open
all over the country. And now Elder Hosmer has preached in revival meetings, conferences, and councils for many different organizations. God has opened a tremendous door cross-culturally and across denominational lines for this young evangelist. Elder Hosmer has experienced many different types of trials and tribulations that
the enemy tried to use to destroy him. However, what the enemy meant for evil, “God has turned around for good.” Out of this pain, God has turned tragedy into triumph because God has birthed an anointed word of deliverance in this young man that will speak to anyone and let him or her know that no matter what they are going through, God is able to bring them out.
